Setup Guide

How to connect SyncBridge to HubSpot and ServiceTitan and run your first sync.

Prerequisites

  • A HubSpot account (Professional or Enterprise recommended for custom object support).
  • A ServiceTitan account with API access enabled.
  • ServiceTitan API credentials: Client ID, Client Secret, App Key, and Tenant ID — found in ServiceTitan → Settings → Integrations → API Application.
  • Admin permissions in both platforms.
1

Install SyncBridge

Option A — from the HubSpot Marketplace:

  1. Find SyncBridge in the HubSpot App Marketplace and click Install.
  2. Review the requested permissions and click Grant access.
  3. You'll land on the SyncBridge welcome page. HubSpot is already connected and your account has been created automatically.
  4. Check your email for a "Set your password" link to complete registration.

Option B — from the SyncBridge dashboard:

  1. Log in to SyncBridge and go to your project's Connections page.
  2. Click "Login with HubSpot" under the HubSpot destination card.
  3. Select your portal, grant access, and you'll be redirected back with the connection confirmed.
2

Connect ServiceTitan

  1. Go to your project's Connections page (or the welcome page after a marketplace install).
  2. Enter your Client ID, Client Secret, App Key, and Tenant ID.
  3. Click Test Connection. If successful, click Save.
3

Create a Sync Job

  1. Navigate to Jobs → Create Job.
  2. Set a job name, select the source object (e.g. Customers) and destination object (e.g. Contacts), and choose a sync trigger (new records, updated records, or both).
  3. The job is created in a disabled state — configure field mappings before enabling it.
4

Configure Field Mappings

  1. Open your job and go to the Field Mappings tab.
  2. Drag source fields (left panel) to destination fields (right panel). Common mappings: name → firstname/lastname, email → email, phone → phone.
  3. Set a Match Field — this is critical for deduplication. Click a mapping and toggle "Use as match field". Without this, syncs will create duplicate records.
  4. Add transforms optionally: date format conversion, value mapping, concatenation, or static values.
  5. Click Save Mappings.
5

Set a Sync Schedule

  1. Go to the job's Schedule tab.
  2. Choose a schedule mode: Daily Time, Interval (e.g. every 15 minutes), or Day-Specific.
  3. Select your timezone, click Save, then Enable Schedule.
6

Run Your First Sync

  1. From the job overview, click Run Now.
  2. Choose Full Sync (recommended for the first run) or Incremental.
  3. Monitor progress on the Active Syncs page in real time.
7

Verify in HubSpot

  1. Open HubSpot and navigate to the relevant object (e.g. Contacts).
  2. Search for a known record to confirm it was mapped correctly.
  3. Check the SyncBridge Logs page for a per-record breakdown of created, updated, and failed records.

How to Disconnect or Uninstall

  • From SyncBridge: go to Connections and click Disconnect on the HubSpot card.
  • From HubSpot: Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps → SyncBridge → Uninstall.
